Southwest Gas Analyst I or II

Overview

The Analyst must leverage experience in public relations, marketing, and communication to support Southwest Gas’ business objectives. This position requires experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and monitoring public relations and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate must be well-versed in developing promotional and information plans and materials directed at public involvement and outreach strategies and activities. The successful candidate will also have a good understanding of integrated marketing and must be able to comfortably navigate and leverage advertising, direct marketing, events, and the web to advance the Company’s marketing and public outreach strategies. The candidate will support and work closely with current staff members to produce communication products. The Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal departments, as well as vendors and external industry contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or English from an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be hired in at an appropriate level depending on experience.  At least seven years of work experience is preferred.
